Cookies & privacy

Cookies help you vote without creating an account and change your answers later. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts.

How we remember your votes

Your cookie holds a random browser identifier. The answers themselves are stored on our server, linked through a keyed hash of that identifier. No name, email, or account is needed. Public results show combined counts, but the stored vote records remain browser-linked until you erase them. They are not fully anonymised.

After the identifier expires or is cleared, we cannot recognize your earlier votes in that browser. You may lose the ability to change or erase them here.

More about cookies and privacy

Security and session cookies protect forms. The preference cookie radar_privacy remembers your choice for up to 180 days. The radar_visitor identifier is session-only with Necessary only, or lasts up to 180 days with Accept All. Browsers can restore session cookies when restoring a browsing session.

Voting answers may reveal political opinions. By submitting a vote, you agree to store that answer and its browser-linked identifier to calculate community results. Voting is optional; browsing and results are available without voting.

Raw IP addresses are not stored in vote records. Short-lived rate limits use rotating hashes of network addresses, and hosting logs may process IP addresses separately. External links lead to sites with their own privacy practices.

Votes remain until removed by the voter through the recognized browser or by the site operator. Clearing cookies alone does not delete database records. These controls do not replace a complete operator privacy notice and legal assessment.

Analytics, advertising, and cross-site tracking features are disabled.

Erase your votes?

Every vote recognized in this browser will be permanently removed. Your contributions to results and Trust Index scores will disappear. This cannot be undone.
