The promise
Musk promised that the Tesla Optimus humanoid robot will revolutionize both industry and households. The robot aims to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks and eventually integrate AI intelligence similar to Tesla’s self-driving systems. He said Optimus would become Tesla’s most valuable product. Demos have shown walking and part-sorting abilities, but mass production has not started. Critics view it as overhyped; Tesla continues internal testing with factory use cases.
